It should be titled as a game not a movie.
Refreshing once you fall is just for a stupid and lazy dev.
This shouldn't even be allowed on the site. If you made this (Which I doubt) you should be ashamed, students do better work.

Very clever indeed. I've yet to see a chroma key used on claymation, with real life footage to make it seem so smooth. Clever title as well! This was great, and well put together. Keep this up!

Metapod used sympathize! Metapod is now depressed... XD I love it!

Morcov is being a dramatic ninny. This was amazing to see, and the voice acting was alright.

Alright, well lets just start this off with, "That was fucking great!" It's been awhile since I actually enjoyed a flash like I did this one. The humor was all in well shape, the style is done fashionably, and it all fits nicely together. I really rather liked the whole "Dark Souls", pun. (I'm such a sucker for the whole use the title in the film thing). The only thing that I didn't really care for was the whole spin off of the lazer collection and dbz, but that's nothing to be butt-hurt about. It's a pretty good representation of how tough it is without the wiki or anything assisting you. Great job! Keep up the good work!

Very nice animation and amazingly done! Cute ending, with a classic victim ends up with the power situation. The only thing that got me to where I'm giving you a 4.5 is because the style of the the characters led me to believe that tiger was the "good" one and the panther was the "evil" one. Which in turn, made me want to see them fight more than a little acid spit (Which the tiger just brushed off anyway [ Yes there's the whole suspending disbelief, but I feel like the tiger should at least be afraid of the spit]). Rather good job though, I couldn't do anything like this with my skill set.

Seeing how it is a class project I can't be too hard on you. It was a nicely put together flash, and well done. I could only point out two, personal, flaws. One, I'd like to see more of him riding before just falling off; this would help get into a small amount of character development, and create a more dramatic mood (Which it lacked a lot of for me). Two I'd like some more gruesome sound effects, it doesn't have to be perfect but I'd like more than just an "Oh he fell", and the swish with the rock. I want the sounds of bodily injury! That again would make things more dramatic. Again, good job, just throwing some internet criticism like everyone likes to do. I couldn't do this, so congrats on a good foundation flash! Just use this to further your development!

If you take a look at the vast majority of the videos on the internet, they are very dark. Your addition of sound was nice, but the "blood", really took away from the quality of your work. Instead of being captured by the story, I found myself just pondering if it was a truly intentional effect. If it was, as you say it is, I think a little more effort could've gone into it. With anything you add, you must note if it will subtract from the overall "feel". Have some peers go over it, that's what I tend to do when doing something experimental. Nicely done, you've definitely have the potential.

MadameMochete responds:

Well the shaking blood made me and a friend laugh in editing so instead of fixing it we left it to lighten the mood since at first I thought the sound effect (since they are exaggerated) might of saved it from being too dark.

Of course the begging was predictable you pricks! You still clicked on the link and watched the damn thing didn't you? Plus I trust that only a slim percent ACTUALLY predicted that it would turn out like that. A person getting entirely sucked into a vending machine isn't really something we go for. Secondly, I feel like most that say it was predictable only say so to feel smug about themselves; maybe feel like they fit in or something because someone else said it.

Anyway, good animation, and I loved the ending with a torrent of blood washing a kid away! Pretty clever idea that I'm surprised no one has thought of yet, so congrats!

Animation was smooth, song fit well, really liked the plot, easy to watch and relate to. This was really great for your first 3D animation. Yes there is work to be done, but that's for the future and in the present I was moved; in my standards, that's what really matters. Good job, and I look forward to seeing more from you.
